Our lady of perpetual help

Illustration, print, postcard

This postcard was created for my local church (pro bono) so that they could sell them to raise funds. The church is called ‘Our Lady of Perpetual Help’, this naturally lead me to my central image, which is of Mary (Mother of Jesus) holding the baby Jesus, as well as a lamb (The lamb is also a well know symbol in Catholicism).

The clouds and cherubs were added to give the whole design a more heavenly and religious feel. The main aim was for them to be used as Christmas cards, but with an open enough look so that they could be used all year.
