Illustration, print, typography, layout
With this piece the client requested an illustration to accompany a short story in a book of collected short stories. The illustration had to convey the themes, ideas and symbolism portrayed in the story line without giving away to much of the plot.
The final illustration was created by the montaging Application: Photoshop of several images together to create the final scene (stormy sea, clouds, stars, moon and light house). It also had to look like a stormy night, so the images were colour adjusted and desaturated, then rain and lightening was added.
